National water agency PUB said flash floods occurred in several parts of the city on Friday afternoon.
The affected areas included Newton Circus, Kampong Java, Lincoln Road, Wee Nam Road, Cambridge Road, the junction of Bukit Timah and Sixth Avenue, and the junction of Moulmein Road and Thomson Road in front of United Square.
The floods have since subsided along Newton Circus, Kampong Java, the junction of Sixth Avenue and Bukit Timah, Lincoln Road, and the junction of Moulmein Road and Thomson Road.
Earlier floods reported at Cuscaden Road, where the right lane was not passable to traffic, have also subsided.
